Before founding SkillDay, Joern worked as a consultant at Accenture and in corporate development at XING AG and freenet Group, and he holds an MBA from EADA Business School in Barcelona. Today he and a network of six expert trainers and facilitators deliver 50+ workshop topics.

Questions about in-house corporate training
What is in-house corporate training?
In-house corporate training means we run the workshop exclusively for your team, at your location or online, with content built around your business. It usually costs less than sending individuals to open seminars, and the team works on real, shared challenges – from a presentation workshop to advanced Excel training.
Where do you deliver training?
On-site anywhere in Europe – including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Dublin, Hamburg, London, Madrid and Paris – plus selected international locations such as Dubai, and live online for distributed teams, for example as live online Excel training or presentation training online.
How large can a group be?
Most workshops work best with 8 to 20 participants. We regularly run sessions for up to 50 people with additional facilitators, and short Lunch & Learn formats for much larger audiences.
How far in advance should we book?
Four to six weeks is comfortable for a tailored in-house workshop, which leaves time for the scoping call and content adaptation. Shorter lead times are often possible – see our open workshop days.
Can you combine several topics into a team day?
Yes. Many teams book a team day that combines a skill – presenting, facilitating, prioritising – with time to connect and align as a team.
Can you train our own trainers and facilitators?
Yes. In our train the trainer course your experts learn to design and run trainings people use, and our internal facilitator program builds your own workshop team.
Do you run workshops with LEGO® bricks?
Yes. We run business workshops with LEGO® bricks and team building with LEGO® bricks in Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark, using special LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® bricks.
What does a SkillDay cost?
In-house workshops are quoted as a fixed price per training day, based on group size, format and travel. Tell us your team size and preferred dates and you receive a proposal within 24 hours.
