A team building workshop that connects and aligns your people
After a day with us your people truly know each other, share one objective in their own words, and know what matters most for the months ahead – with clear priorities and one owner per topic.
A team that trusts each other and pulls the same way
We lead with the result: the day has only worked when your team collaborates differently the Monday after.
Talk more openly
The people in the room know the stories behind the roles – and that carries every hard conversation later.
Pull toward one goal
Instead of many separate agendas there is one shared objective everyone can get behind.
Do the right things first
The few topics that matter now are named, prioritised and assigned to an owner.
Two ways to run your team building workshop
A ready-to-run experience or a day designed from scratch – you choose, we facilitate.
Ready-to-run team experiences
Facilitated activities that build connection right away – little preparation for you, plenty of impact in the room.
- Puzzle missions with the pace of a blockbuster adventure: the team cracks a chain of clever challenges together
- LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® – two truths and a lie: everyone builds three short stories, one is invented, the others hunt the lie
- The result: people genuinely get to know each other and see colleagues from a whole new angle
Your day, designed from the ground up
We design your team workshop to fit – built around your occasion, team and goal.
- Connection, a shared objective and clear priorities in one coherent arc
- Combine it with modules on skill development and prioritisation
- In the briefing we agree together what should be different after the day

What a team building workshop at SkillDay delivers
Three movements in a single day – each one building on the last.
What a team building workshop is made of
We combine hands-on methods with clear outcome work – so the day is fun and still produces something.
Getting to know each other, with depth
With LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® everyone builds a small model of what makes them unique in this group – and tells the story behind it. The quiet voices are in the conversation as fully as the loud ones.
A shared objective
Everyone writes one sentence on where the team stands a year from now. Small groups merge them into a few, then into one shared objective – in the words of the people who deliver it.
Priorities & ownership
The room collects the topics that truly matter and picks the leading ones. Those become objectives with measurable results – each with a number, a date and an owner.
Team building that sticks in everyday work
A good team workshop does not feel like a seminar. We facilitate so that your team works together – and leaves with a result it phrased itself.
Before the day we clarify in a short call what should be different afterwards, who is in the room and what is already on the table. We build the flow around your answer – it is always a proposal we sharpen together.
The compact impulse
Three to four hours for connection and a shared objective – ideal as a kick-off or built into a larger event.
Connect and align
The complete arc: getting to know each other, a shared goal and prioritised topics with owners – all in one day.
Go deeper and anchor it
Room for deep dives, working sessions per sub-team and a roadmap that holds after the offsite.
Concrete results, not just a good day
Your team leaves with tangible work products – visibly documented and ready to use.
A shared objective
One sentence on the team's objective, phrased and owned by everyone.
The top priorities
The few topics that matter now – chosen and weighted together.
Measurable results
Two to three key results per objective, each with a number and a date.
Clear ownership
Every result has a name – it is clear who moves it forward.
A stronger 'we'
Trust and connection that make working together noticeably easier.
A photo record
The results captured, so the energy of the day does not fade.
A clear arc from connection to alignment
A proposal we adapt to your team together in the briefing.
Connection
- Arriving and a shared frame for the day
- LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®: build what makes each person unique
- Share the stories – every voice is in the conversation
Clarity
- Each person: one sentence on the objective a year from now
- Small groups merge the sentences
- One shared objective, chosen by the whole room
Alignment
- Collect the topics that matter and pick the top five
- Objectives with two to three key results each
- Every result with a number, a date and an owner
Teams we work with
From large corporates to growing mid-sized companies – in Germany and internationally.
Good to know before your team building workshop
How many people is a team building workshop suited to?
From small teams to large groups. From around 20 people we recommend a second facilitator, so every small group has someone alongside them at the right moment.
Where does the workshop take place?
We come to you – in your rooms or at an offsite location of your choice. You need tables for small groups, free wall space, a flipchart and a beamer.
Which language do you facilitate in?
In German and in English – including international teams with mixed home countries.
How do you prepare?
In a call of about 30 to 45 minutes we clarify what should be different after the day. From that we build the flow and the right exercises – tailored to your team.
Is the flow fixed?
No. The proposed flow is always a proposal we adapt together in the briefing. There we also clarify what success looks like after the workshop.
What happens after the workshop?
On request we support the follow-through – with deep dives, working sessions per sub-team, or a follow-up session where the objectives are sharpened further.
