Leadership workshops

Leadership workshops where the whole team builds the way forward

Strategy, vision, how you lead together: in a workshop using special LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® bricks, every member of the leadership team builds their view, and the team turns those views into a shared picture and clear decisions. Every voice counts, from the CEO to the newest member of the team.

Your outcome

What your team leaves with

A shared picture of the future

One model the whole leadership team built together – and can explain to their own teams the next day.

One voice as a leadership team

Open questions surface early and get settled in the room, so the team leaves aligned.

Clear priorities with owners

A handful of Must-Win-Battles, each with a leader who drives it and a first step.

The format

A leadership workshop with LEGO® bricks

Build, tell, agree: three steps that give a leadership team a day of real dialogue and decisions everyone stands behind.

Build

Everyone builds their own model – in a few minutes, no experience needed.

Tell

Every model gets its story, and everyone listens.

Agree

The models turn into agreements that hold in daily work.

Use cases

Three moments when leadership teams build together

Building shows where a leadership team really stands. When every leader builds what success looks like in three years, the team sees its common ground and its open questions on the table – early, while they are easy to resolve.

From there the day follows a clear flow: everyone first builds options alone, then the team collects all themes, sorts them, chooses and sharpens. Sharpening means asking: what has to be true for this to work? The result is a handful of Must-Win-Battles with names attached.

We come to you with the bricks – to your offices or an offsite venue anywhere we can reach by train or car from Hamburg: across Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and neighbouring countries.

Strategy and vision

The leadership team builds where it wants to be and agrees the priorities that get it there.

How we lead together

Roles, expectations and working agreements for a leadership team that is new or has changed.

Leading through change

A shared picture of the change and how each leader carries it into their area.

When everyone builds at once, every voice is heard

In every workshop, each person builds their own model with special LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® bricks in answer to one clear question – all at the same time, in a few minutes. Then everyone explains their model. The quieter people's thoughts reach the table too, and the conversation stays on the subject.

Everyone builds at once

From the newest hire to the director, every voice carries the same weight.

Hands help you think

Building brings up pictures and ideas that rarely surface in a meeting.

The model carries the conversation

Questions and ideas are aimed at the model, which makes candid words easy.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does this work for senior executives?

Very well. Building gets to the real issues quickly, and every voice carries the same weight – the CEO's included.

Can it be part of our leadership offsite?

Yes – as a half-day core session or as a full two-day offsite. We travel by train or car and bring all materials.

Do you facilitate in English and German?

Yes. Jörn Steinz facilitates in both, and mixed teams build and explain in whatever language is easiest for them.

What does the room need?

Tables where everyone can sit and build, a screen and a flip chart. We bring the bricks and all other materials.

Does our team need any experience?

No experience is needed. The first building exercises take a few minutes to explain, and after that everyone builds their own models with confidence.

How many people can take part?

That depends on your goal. Tell us your group size and we plan materials and flow to match.
