A team workshop that delivers connection, clarity and alignment

A facilitated team workshop for people who have to work together and have never had the time to agree how: new teams, two organisations becoming one, leadership offsites and kick-offs. Half a day, a full day or a two-day offsite — in English or German, at your place or online.

  • English & German
  • On site or online
  • Small teams to whole departments

How it runs

1
ScopeA call with you: who is in the room, what has to be different afterwards.
2
DesignAn agenda built for your situation, with your real topics in it.
3
DeliverThe day itself: your people work, we hold the structure and the time.
4
ApplyNamed owners, dates in the calendar, and priorities the team can steer with.

The job of the day

What a team workshop with us delivers

Three things, in this order. Each one makes the next one possible.

Connection

People get to know each other properly — what each person brings, from work or from life. The quiet colleagues are in the conversation as fully as the loud ones.

Clarity

One shared objective for the year, written in the words of the people who have to deliver it, so nobody leaves with a different picture in their head.

Alignment

The top priorities for the next months, with a number, a date and a named owner — and the first appointment booked before anyone leaves the room.

Situations

Three moments when a team day pays for itself

Most inquiries we get are one of these three. Each one needs a different afternoon.

A new team

People who were hired or moved into one team and have never worked out who is good at what, or how they want to decide things.

  • Strengths and working styles made visible
  • Ways of working agreed, not assumed
  • First shared goal in their own words

Two teams becoming one

After a merger, a reorganisation or a takeover, when both sides are polite and both sides quietly keep their own playbook.

  • Each side learns what the other brings
  • One set of priorities instead of two
  • Cross-company pairs with a first date in the diary

A team that has drifted

Everyone is busy, nobody is sure what the others are working on, and the same three topics come back to every meeting.

  • What is actually on everyone’s plate, in the open
  • The top five topics for the next quarter
  • Measurable results instead of good intentions

What we can put in the day

Building blocks for your team workshop

We pick from these and build one agenda for your situation. Nothing here is a fixed module you have to take whole.

How we work

Designed for your room, not off the shelf

Every workshop starts with a call: who is in the room, how well do they know each other, what has to be different on Monday. The agenda is then built around your real topics, so the group recognises its own situation from the first minute.

Roughly two thirds of the time, your people are the ones working. Input is short, the exercises are theirs, and every block ends with something written down that they can use.

Everything the group produces stays with you: the objectives, the key results, the owners and the dates, ready to be used in the next team meeting.

In-house, at your placeHalf a day, a full day or a two-day offsite, anywhere in Europe. We bring the materials.
OnlineTwo blocks of about three hours, with breakout rooms and a shared board. Same working ratio.
Two facilitators for larger groupsA second facilitator joins when the group is big, so every small group has someone free when it needs one.

An agency team that wanted to communicate better

They took the principles they already use for presentations — know your audience, lead with the point, structure the argument — and applied them to how they talk to each other day to day.

An engineering team at a space agency

A team day for specialists who work alone most of the year, built around what each person brings to the others.

A management team at the half-year mark

A day to look back honestly, cut the topic list down to five, and turn those into measurable results with named owners.

Good to know

Questions we get before booking

How long should a team workshop be?

Three to four hours is enough to get to know each other and agree a direction. A full day adds priorities, measures and ownership. Two days make sense when the team also has to work through content.

How many people can take part?

From a single team to a whole department. For larger groups a second facilitator joins, so every small group keeps moving at the same pace.

In which language?

English or German, and mixed groups are normal. Slides and materials follow the language of the room.

What does it cost?

It depends on length, group size and how much preparation your topics need. Tell us the date and the number of people and you get a fixed quote, all inclusive, within a day.

What do you need from us?

One call of about 45 minutes, a rough idea of the participants and any priorities already on the table. Anonymised material is entirely sufficient.

Do you really use LEGO® bricks?

When it fits the group, yes. Building a model puts the quiet people in the conversation as fully as the loud ones, and what gets built becomes working material for the rest of the day.

Next step

Tell us the date and we design your team workshop

Send the date, the number of people and one sentence on what should be different afterwards. You get a concrete proposal with an agenda and a fixed price.

Usually answered the same working day — by Jörn Steinz personally, not a form robot.
