In-house team training · 1 day
Impactful presentations, built by your whole team
In one day, your team learns a shared way to find the core message, write a storyline people follow and design slides that are understood at a glance – applied straight to the presentations they give every week.
How a presentation lands
One core message
The sentence your audience remembers the next day.
A storyline that holds
Slide titles written as statements, read end to end.
Slides that carry it
One message per slide, visible in seconds.
Calm, confident delivery
A room that follows you – and acts.
Your outcome
What your team can do after the day
Every participant leaves with methods they use in the very next meeting – and the whole team shares one language for good presentations.
Say it in one sentence
Compress insight and recommendation into a core message that survives the meeting.
Build a storyline fast
Choose the structure that fits the audience and write the argument before the first slide.
Design clear slides
Turn text-heavy pages into slides that carry one statement each.
Work as one team
Review each other's decks with shared criteria – and raise the standard together.
SkillDay in-house training
Team presentation skills training by SkillDay
Three building blocks turn good content into impactful presentations. Your team practises all three on its own material, from the first hour on.
Message
What should your audience think, feel and do?
Structure
An argument people follow step by step.
Slides
Visuals that prove the point at a glance.
The content
Three focus areas for impactful presentations
Two focus areas fill the training day. The third makes an optional second day for teams who present on stage, to clients or to the board.

Two structures, seen in action
How impactful presentations are built
Your team learns when to tell a story and when to lead with the answer – and practises both on its own topics.
The hero's journey
Your audience is the hero, you are the guide. From where they stand today, through the challenge, to the better future your plan makes possible – a story people follow and remember.
The pyramid
Answer first: the core message on top, three reasons below, facts, data and examples at the base. Decision-makers get what they need in the first minute – and the detail whenever they ask.
Slides that carry the message
From topic slide to statement slide
One of the moves your team practises on real decks: the title becomes a statement, the chart proves it, the eye goes straight to what matters.
A topic as title, the message hidden in bullet points.
The statement as title, one chart, the decisive bar highlighted.
How we work
Built around your team's real presentations
A short input, then straight into practice on the decks your team is working on right now. Feedback comes from the trainer and from colleagues – which is exactly what makes the method stick in the team.
Before the day, we align in a short call on your goals and adapt focus, exercises and examples to your team.
In-house, on site

Questions about the training
Who is the training for?
For teams who present to managers, clients or colleagues – from marketing and sales to finance, HR and project teams. Mixed experience levels work well together.
How long is the training?
One day, usually from 09:00 to 17:00. Teams who want to go deeper add a second day on delivery and impact.
Is it tailored to our team?
Yes. In a short briefing we align on your goals and adapt focus, exercises and examples to your team – this is part of every training.
Do we work on our own presentations?
Yes. Participants bring a current topic or deck and sharpen it during the day. Anonymised versions are completely fine.
Where and in which language?
On site at your offices across Europe or live online, in English or German.
How far in advance should we book?
Four to six weeks is comfortable. Shorter lead times are often possible – just ask.
Our team presents highly technical content – is there a format for that?
Yes, a dedicated one: technical presentation skills training.
