Prioritization training for managers: focus on what matters, stop the rest
In our prioritization training your managers sort their workload, choose the three to five priorities that really move the needle and lead their teams with the same clarity – with less stress and more energy for what counts.

See at a glance which tasks deserve energy and which do not.

Small daily habits that protect focus and resilience.
Why it works
A prioritization training that changes how managers work
The core tool
The priority matrix: quick wins, critical battles and a stop list
Every task is placed by its impact and by the effort and attention it needs. Four boxes, four clear actions.
High impact · low effort
Quick wins
Do them now or hand them to someone who can.
High impact · high effort
Critical battles
Three to five at most. Each gets a time to victory, a first visible win and a fixed slot in your week.
Low impact · low effort
Routine
Delegate, batch or automate, so it never crowds out the big moves.
Low impact · high effort
Not now
Your stop list. It frees exactly the time your critical battles need.
The cap of five is a gain in focus: a manager who carries five priorities moves them all; one who carries twelve moves none.
The agenda
Six steps from overload to focus
A proposed flow that we tailor to your managers in a short briefing call – including what success after the training means for you.
Step 1
Share your reality
Managers map what lands on their desk and what leaves it. More in than out shows at once.
Step 2
Sort the load
Every task goes on the priority matrix by impact and effort. Patterns appear within minutes.
Step 3
Pick the critical few
Three to five priorities, each with a time to victory and a first visible win.
Step 4
Protect your focus
A weekly priority check, a short daily list and limits on work in progress.
Step 5
Lead the team through it
Share priorities, renegotiate deadlines and say no in a way people accept.
Step 6
Commit
Your stop list, your first win and one if-then habit to start the next day.
Formats
Workload management training in the format that fits your managers
Every format is live and hands-on: managers work on their own tasks, not on case studies.
Live online
2–3 hour session
Ideal for international teams. Six short blocks, each ending with managers applying the tool to their own workload.
In-house
Half or full day
More time for practice, peer coaching and the team-on-a-page exercise. On request with special LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® bricks to make the workload visible.
Programme
Series of sessions
Kick-off plus short follow-ups after a few weeks, so new habits stick and priorities are reviewed with fresh evidence.

FAQ
Questions about the prioritization training
What is a prioritization training?
A practical training in which managers sort their workload by impact and effort, choose the few priorities that really matter, decide what to stop and learn to lead their team with the same focus.
Who is it for?
Managers, team leads and project leads who carry more than their calendar can hold, and leadership teams who want one shared way to set priorities.
How long does it take?
From a 2–3 hour live online session to a half or full day in-house. Many companies combine it with short follow-up sessions after a few weeks.
Does it cover stress and resilience?
Yes. Workload and resilience go together: the training looks at what creates pressure, gives managers tools to regain control and closes with small daily habits that keep energy up.
How does it fit with your other leadership trainings?
It works on its own or as one module of a wider programme. See our leadership training, our time management training and our feedback training for managers.
In which language and where?
In English or German, live online or in-house at your offices across Europe.
