Copilot agent workshop: find the recurring tasks, build the agents, link them into one workflow

A hands-on Microsoft 365 Copilot workshop for teams that already use Copilot. We analyse the recurring tasks in every role, check which ones earn an agent, build those agents in the room and link them into a workflow in which agents work alongside your people. On site or live online, in English or German.

The workshop

From one recurring task to a working system.
01
Analyse

Map the recurring tasks in every role and sort them: protect, amplify, automate.

02
Decide

Check each task against one rule: does it earn an agent, or is a prompt enough?

03
Build

Build the agents in the room, each with a mission, inputs, rules and output.

04
Link

Connect them into one workflow: agents prepare, draft and check, your people decide.

What your team can do afterwards

Agents take the recurring work. Your team decides.

The promise of the workshop: for every role we find the tasks that keep coming back, check which of them an agent should take, build those agents and connect them into a workflow. After the session your team works with agents alongside its people, not with a tool on the side.

A map of recurring tasks per role

Every role leaves with its own list of recurring tasks, sorted into what to protect, what to amplify and what to hand to an agent.

Agents for the tasks that earn one

Everyone builds at least one Copilot agent for a task that keeps coming back, and knows the rule for when an agent is worth it and when a prompt will do.

One workflow, agents and people side by side

The agents are linked into a system: one briefs, one researches, one drafts, one checks, and every step ends with a decision that stays with a person.

Results that stay in the team

A shared prompt and agent library keeps what works in the company, not only on individual laptops.

Why this format works

A Copilot workshop for teams that already use Copilot every day

Most Copilot sessions explain the tool. This one builds with it. Three things make the difference.

Role-specific, not generic

Every exercise runs on scenarios from your team's real work. The briefing decides which ones.

Hands-on from the first minute

Own laptops open, own Copilot running. Short inputs, long practice, results in your files.

From one agent to a system

The workshop goes past single agents: the agents hand over to each other and form a workflow in which people keep every decision.

Suggested agenda

Seven modules, one system

The full workshop runs all seven modules. Shorter formats pick the modules that matter most for your team. Every module ends with something participants keep.

Module 1

Where your team stands

Everyone starts by asking their own Copilot what they use it for most and which tasks repeat. The answers are sorted with one lens: what to protect, what to amplify, what to automate. This is the raw material for the rest of the workshop.

Your own usage mapProtect / amplify / automateThe tasks worth an agent
Module 2

Role-specific prompting

A prompt structure that works for your role: context, task, format and an example of what good looks like. Participants rewrite three of their everyday prompts, compare results and keep a prompt that optimises prompts.

Module 3

Personalise Copilot

Copilot drafts your personal instructions from the way you have been working with it, you shorten them. From then on every answer starts in your role, your tone and your format.

Module 4

Copilot across Microsoft 365

The handful of moves per app that pay off right away: meeting notes and follow-ups in Teams, inbox triage in Outlook, first drafts in Word, a deck from a source in PowerPoint, a quick analysis in Excel.

Module 5

Hands-on scenarios from your work

Realistic cases from the briefing, worked in pairs: preparing a customer visit, turning notes into a follow-up, drafting a market update, summarising a long report for a decision. Each pair presents its result and its prompt.

Module 6

Which tasks earn an agent, and building them

The rule first: an agent pays off when the result was good, the task recurs and it runs the same way each time. Then participants harvest an agent from a chat that already worked, give it a mission, inputs, rules and an output format, and build a creator and a critic.

Module 7

Linking the agents into one workflow

The agents are connected into a workflow: one briefs, one researches, one drafts, one checks, and a person decides at every step. Prompts and agents go into a shared library, and everyone names the one thing they will use right away.

This agenda is a proposal. In a short briefing we decide together which scenarios, apps and recurring tasks your team works on, and what a successful workshop looks like for you.

The workflow

Copilot agent workshop: one agent per step, in the order that works

Each agent has one job and hands on a finished piece of work. You read every output and decide before you pass it on. The example below is built for a customer-facing team; in the briefing we rename the steps and agents for your roles.

What the agent does
Asks the five questions that pin down the customer, the situation and the one outcome the visit or call should reach.
Pulls the account history, open topics and the relevant product facts into a one-page preparation note, each point with its source.
Turns your notes into the follow-up, the summary for the account or the internal update, in the agreed format.
Builds the deck or the one-pager in your template: one message and one supporting element per slide.
Attacks the result on facts, tone, claims your team would not defend and missing next steps.

06You
What you decide
The one outcome you commit to.
Which points you raise first.
What is sent, and to whom.
The template and two model slides.
Which findings you accept.
Is it right for this customer? Then send it.

The agents are built in the workshop as Copilot agents, each with a mission, inputs, rules and output format. The pattern follows the five-agent chain for presentations that SkillDay developed with FIFA.

Formats

From a 90-minute impulse to a full-day Copilot agent workshop

Every format is hands-on and runs on your own laptops with your own Copilot. On site in your offices anywhere in Europe, or live online.

Impulse

1,5 to 2 hours. The four stages, one live build, three prompts to keep. A strong opener for a team day or a conference.

Half-day workshop

3,5 hours. The standard format: prompting, personalisation, scenarios and the first agent.

Full workshop

5 to 6 hours. All seven modules with the deepest agent and workflow part, plus a team library at the end.

What participants take away

Ready to use right away

  • Your personal Copilot instructions
  • Three saved prompts for your role

FAQ

Questions before you book

Our team already uses Copilot every day. Is this still the right workshop?

Yes, that is the audience this workshop is built for. The basics take a few minutes; the time goes into role-specific prompting, personalisation and building agents for recurring tasks. Teams starting from scratch begin with our Copilot workshop on the foundations.

What do participants need?

A Microsoft 365 Copilot licence on their work account, their own laptop and the ability to create agents in Copilot Chat. We check the setup together in the briefing so the first exercise starts without delays.

How large can the group be?

Groups of 8 to 12 get the most individual feedback. Larger teams work in pairs on shared scenarios; we agree the setup for your group size in the briefing.

On site or live online?

Both. On site in your offices anywhere in Europe, or live online in sessions of 1,5 to 3 hours. Hybrid teams can join online while the room works on site.

In which language?

English or German. Prompts and agents are built in the language your team works in.

How is the workshop tailored to our team?

A 30-minute briefing call decides the scenarios, the apps that matter most and which recurring tasks are agent candidates. The agenda above is a proposal that we adapt together.
