Hold the room in the AI era.
Your people can generate a deck in minutes. The rare skill now is standing in front of it and moving a room to a decision. That is what we train — on one method, in one day.
The SKILL Method
Start from what you'll be able to do.
One model, kept deliberately small.
Hands-on reps in the room.
Feedback, sharper each round.
A plan that lands on Monday.
Confident in front of any room — with AI doing the heavy lifting, not the thinking
Build a clear, persuasive story fast
Shape a message that leads to a decision — and let AI accelerate the draft instead of dictating it.
Turn slides into a room that listens
Fewer words, stronger visuals, a delivery that holds attention from the first minute.
Handle questions and pushback with ease
Stay clear and composed when the room gets hard — the moment that decides most presentations.
Use AI as a sparring partner
A repeatable workflow to sharpen structure, tighten language and pressure-test the argument before you're on stage.
Presentation skills for the AI era
AI made slides cheap. It made the human standing in front of them worth more. Here is where the value moved.
One method. Five steps. It spells SKILL.
People don't leave having heard about a skill — they leave able to do it, and able to do it again on Monday. Every SkillDay session is held to the same five steps.
See the outcome
We start from what you'll be able to do — not the tool, not the theory.
Know the key
One essential model, kept small — the few principles that move the needle.
Immerse
Hands-on reps in the room — real material, real AI, safe to try.
Loop
Feedback and iteration — every round sharper than the last.
Live it
A concrete plan for Monday, so the skill transfers to the real job.
Three tracks, one flagship
Present with impact
The core craft: structure, story and delivery that hold a room and move it to a decision.
- Message and story architecture
- Slides that support, not distract
- Voice, presence and nerves
- Q&A and handling pushback
Present with AI
A practical workflow that uses AI to sharpen your thinking and speed up the build — without losing your voice.
- From blank page to structured draft
- Prompting for clarity and cut
- Pressure-testing the argument
- Visual and design acceleration
Communicate to convince
Beyond the stage: the everyday communication skills training that makes people clearer in every meeting.
- Making a point that lands
- Executive-level brevity
- Difficult conversations
- Reading and steering a room
Practice-heavy, never slide-heavy
A SkillDay day is mostly people on their feet, presenting and improving — not an audience watching a trainer's slides. Short, sharp input; then you're up. Every participant leaves with real reps behind them and their own material moved forward.
We come to you and shape the day around your people, your context and your idea of what success looks like afterwards.
In-house, in person
A focused day at your offices, built around your team and their real presentations.
Live online
The same practice-first approach, run remotely for distributed teams.
Programmes
A series across a team or leadership group, with practice between sessions.
Not notes — things they can use

Questions we hear
Who is this for?
Anyone who presents to people who matter — from specialists and product teams to leaders. We tailor the level and examples to the group.
Is this a slides course or a speaking course?
Both, joined up. Great delivery needs a clear message and slides that support it — we train the whole chain, from thinking to standing up.
Where does the AI part fit?
AI runs through the day as a practical tool for structuring, drafting and sharpening. You keep the judgement and the voice; AI takes the grunt work.
In person or online?
Both. Most teams choose an in-house day; live online works well for distributed groups, with the same practice-first approach.
How large can a group be?
We keep groups small enough that everyone presents and gets feedback. We'll recommend a size and format in the briefing.
Can you run it in English and German?
Yes — SkillDay delivers in both, in person across Europe and live online.
Joern Steinz
Joern has been designing and running workshops since 2014, for teams at some of Europe's most demanding companies. SkillDay is a network of around six experienced trainers who share one method and one standard — so every session lands the same way, whoever is in the room. His background spans Accenture and XING, with an MBA from EADA Business School in Barcelona.
