Business workshops and team building with LEGO® bricks · Germany · Netherlands · DenmarkWhen everyone builds, everyone speaks.

A business workshop or team building day using special LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® bricks gives every person on your team the same airtime. Your leaders build their answers with their hands, tell the story behind each model and leave with a shared picture, guiding principles and next steps they own.

Every round, four steps

1

Question

One clear question that matters to your business.

2

Build

Everyone builds an answer as a model – at the same time.

3

Share

Each person tells the story of their model.

4

Reflect

The team captures what it saw and takes it further.

What changes for your team

After the workshop, your team shares one picture

Leadership teams and departments book a workshop with LEGO® bricks when a decision needs everyone on board: a new strategy, a merger, a new team, a change in how you work together. This is what they take home.

A shared model of your question

Everyone’s view in one model on the table. Strategy, roles and dependencies become visible, so the team talks about the same thing.

Guiding principles in your own words

Simple rules for how you decide and work together, written by the people who have to live them.

Next steps with owners

A short list of actions, each with a name and a date. The energy of the day turns into work that starts the next morning.

Why it works

Why team building with LEGO® bricks works

Your hands know more than you think. Building first and talking second gives quiet voices room and gives the loudest voice a model to respond to.

Think with your hands

Building slows the mind down just enough. People find answers they would never have said out loud in a meeting.

Every voice counts

Each person builds and each person tells their story. Full participation is built into the format.

Metaphors make it clear

A bridge, a wall, a tower: a model says in seconds what a slide needs ten bullets for – and the team remembers it.

Questions teams build answers to

“Where do we want to be in three years?”

“How do we work together when things get hot?”

“What does our customer really experience?”

Where teams use it

From strategy to team spirit

Each workshop is tailored to one question. These are the questions teams bring most often.

  • Strategy and priorities – where are we going, and what matters most on the way?
  • Leadership alignment – how do we want to lead and decide as one team?
  • Change and organisation – where are we today, where do we want to be, and what is the path?
  • Team building – a team day where everyone builds, everyone is heard and the team leaves closer together.
  • New or merged teams – roles, strengths and ways of working, clear from day one.
  • Innovation – customer journeys, service ideas and business models you can touch.

FAQ

Questions about team building and business workshops with LEGO® bricks

Do we need to be creative or good with LEGO® bricks?

Every workshop opens with a short skills build: a tower, a metaphor, a story. After that, everyone in the room builds with confidence. The value lies in the story each person tells about their model, so the look of the model is secondary.

How many people can take part?

We bring all LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® materials for up to 20 participants. The format is at its best when every voice gets airtime; for a full leadership team of eight to twelve, one facilitator keeps the whole room in one conversation.

How long is a workshop using special LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® bricks?

From a 90-minute module inside your offsite to two full days. Most leadership teams choose one day: enough time to build individual models, a shared model and concrete next steps.

Which language do you run it in?

In English or German. International teams in the Netherlands and Denmark usually choose English.

Where do you run the workshop?

At your office or offsite venue anywhere in Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark. We bring all materials, you choose the room.

What do we have at the end of the day?

A shared model of the question you came with, guiding principles in your team’s own words and a short list of next steps with owners. The question is agreed with you in a briefing before the workshop.
