Group Formation Activity
This short activity helps participants form working groups while creating movement, energy and quick personal connections.
Activity: Commonality Questions
The facilitator reads out a series of questions. Participants stand up when a question applies to them and find others who have the same thing in common.
The purpose is to create quick connections and form groups in an active and engaging way before the main group work starts.
Instructions for Participants
The facilitator will read out a series of questions.
If the question applies to you, stand up and find other people who have that in common with you.
Please form groups of 7 to 8 people.
Once your group has 8 people, your group is complete.
If there are more than 8 people for one question, simply form several groups around the same answer.
If your group is too small, stay active and join others during the next question.
